Course Overview
Technical Tests are the most flexible, economical and ‘instant’ way to assess and validate the ability of individual employees or prospective recruits to perform the skill-based tasks that the industry needs. A Technical Test ensures a Craftsperson or Technician has the skill, ability and job knowledge relevant to the work they are required to carry out. Each Technical Test examines a very specific aspect of an engineering construction discipline.

Course Content
The objective of this technical test is to ensure that a candidate has the knowledge, skills and ability to safely and accurately check the condition of battery cells, take voltage readings making comparison to the manufacturers recommendations and check the functionality of battery-supported UPS (Uninterrupted power supply) equipment using appropriate materials, equipment, tools and techniques.More information
- Certification: An ECITB certificate will be issued upon successful completion
- Certificate validity (months): 36
- Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 3 years.
- Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport
