Course Overview

The Working at Height - Unit 6 PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Inspection training course is an exciting programme catered towards candidates who are actively involved in the control of working at height equipment.
The course will train delegates in the range of legislative requirements which apply to working at height activities, and the selection and inspection of personal protective equipment (PPE) used while working at height.
Delegates will learn to complete inspections and maintain inspection records for a range of equipment.
The equipment used during the training course carries a weight limit of 136-140kg. For participants this maximum weight includes clothes and safety equipment, we therefore recommend a maximum bodyweight of 120kg. Our equipment also has a maximum waist size of 120cm.

  • Certification: A 3t Training Services certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
  • Target audience: Personnel who are involved in conducting inspections and maintaining records for working at height equipment.
  • Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 2 years.
  • Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport. Delegates must also bring their own safety boots.
  • Health prerequisites: Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement.
