An exciting collaboration between 3t Training Services and Newcastle International Airport, OTN offers one of the world’s best equipped OPITO-approved offshore firefighting training facilities.

Our 20,000 square foot facility, located at the extensive training ground at Newcastle Airport, has been designed to create an ultra-realistic offshore emergency response training setting. Within these facilities, trainees experience the heat and smoke conditions of a real offshore fire and learn the specialist offshore firefighting techniques needed to overcome any emergency scenario.

  • 3-storey offshore platform rig with full size helideck and Super Puma helicopter mock-up
  • Extensive Breathing Apparatus and Confined Space Training Complex
  • Full sized aircraft fire-fighting rig, fire screens, engine and wing fire simulators and HGV tanker simulators.
