Course Overview

The CISRS Part 1 Scaffolding Tube and Fitting training course reinforces the core skills of scaffolding, including how to safety erect, alter and dismantle structures. Delegates will gain an improved knowledge of using tube and fitting or system scaffolding.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites Required!
In order to complete CISRS Part 1 Scaffolding - Tube & Fitting, delegates must hold:
    - A valid CISRS trainee or labourers card which has been held for at least 3 months
    - A minimum of 3 months practical experience of scaffolding operations (e.g. labouring or carrying out simple scaffolding operations under the direct supervision of a qualified scaffolder)
    - A signed delegate acceptance form Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement

Course Content

Delegates completing this training course will be able to;
- Erect basic scaffolding structures under direct supervision by a qualified and competent CISRS scaffolder
- Gain a CISRS Part 1 Trainee card endorsed with part 1 on the back

More information

  • Certification: A CISRS certificate will be awarded on successful completion.
  • Certificate validity (months): 24
  • Target audience: Scaffolders in possession of a CISRS Card (trainee or labouring) who are looking to progress.
  • Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 2 years.
  • Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport and their National Insurance Number. Delegates must also bring their own safety boots.
