In order to complete the TSBT02 test, delegates will be required to provide evidence of experience based on one of the below classifications of worker type:
New workers – Must hold a valid in-date SBT01 certificate and a completed WBTA logbook (Work Based Task Assignment). The WBTA logbook must be signed by a supervisor or person of authority from the delegates employer, and entries cannot be accepted before 3 months after completion of initial SBT01 training.
Experienced workers – Must hold a valid in-date TSBT02 certificate. If a valid in-date TSBT02 certificate cannot be provided then experienced workers can provide a LOE (Letter of Endorsement) evidencing 3 years recent sustained experience and a trade discipline certificate such as an expired SBT01, TSBT02, mechanical/trade apprenticeship.
Personal workers (generally not part of core crew) – Must hold a valid in-date TSBT02 certificate. If a valid in-date TSBT02 certificate cannot be provided then personal workers can provide a CV evidencing 3 years relevant, sustained experience and a trade discipline certificate such as an expired SBT01, TSBT02, mechanical/trade apprenticeship.

- Target audience: Those who have already completed the ECITB SBT01 (stage 1) training course with a completed work-based task assignment book
- Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 3 years.
- Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport
- Health prerequisites: Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement
