OPITO BOSIET with CA-EBS [STCW95/2010 Conversion]

Course Overview

The oil and gas industry standard course for personnel travelling to an offshore asset is the OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) with Compressed Air - Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS).

Similarities have been identified between the OPITO BOSIET with CA-EBS and the industry standard course for marine personnel; the STCW95/2010 Basic Safety Training. OPITO and the Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) have therefore developed an offshore safety and emergency response training course which allows marine personnel to transfer their skills to the oil and gas sector.
