Triple success for 3t Training Services in prestigious GWO Awards

The UK’s number one energy sector training provider, 3t Training Services, has reached the finals in three separate categories in the Oscars of the wind industry world – the GWO Awards.
The Global Wind Organisation (GWO) is the leading training body for the global wind industry and its annual awards acknowledge the best of the best amongst the world’s wind training providers.
3t Training Services is one of just three companies globally nominated for Training Team of the Year Europe, and two of its team members are also in the finals for Young Achiever of the Year and Instructor of the Year.

Funded Account Manager at 3t, Paige Convery, aged 26, is one of only three people worldwide in the running for Young Achiever of the Year and 3t’s blade repair instructor, Scott Bradley is one of only five instructors worldwide to be nominated for the highly prized Instructor of the Year title, having been voted for by delegates.

3t Training Services has been delivering GWO training since 2015 and has Renewables Training Centre of Excellence in Newcastle, Aberdeen, Teesside and London. With one in every five of the world’s wind trainees passing through its doors, 3t is the largest supplier of wind training in the UK.

The final winners of the GWO Safety Training Awards will be named at an Awards Ceremony on 9th October, held at the GWO Forum in Florida.

Annabel Leckenby, Head of Marketing at 3t Training Services, said: “Being shortlisted in not just one but THREE categories in such a high-profile global wind competition as the GWO Awards is fantastic news and testament to the quality and dedication of our 3t team.

“Our staff put everything into delivering an exceptional training experience for learners and it’s great to have this recognised by the industry on a global stage. We are extremely proud of everyone involved and will be keeping everything crossed for a good result in October.”
